Overview
The anaerobic treatment of wastewater provides the possibility to transform solved organic compounds into methane (biogas). This process happens under the absence of oxygen. Beside the generation of biogas, the amount of produced excess sludge is way smaller than with conventional aerobic water treatment. Additional advantages are the smaller required amount of space and the less energy consumption. The COD-decay-rate reaches with 95% a very high level.

Bremer pro aqua is operating in the field of anaerobic waste water treatment for more than a decade. To use these techniques in an effective and reasonable way, we use our own and patented High Performance Anaerobic Reactor (HPA) system. Beside the advantages mentioned above, our system has specially designed discharging elements which keep the amount of remaining sludge low and decrease the amount of remaining biogas in the effluent.
